Mold is insidious. It has destroyed an entire city. The team barely stopped the mold attacks before it spread across the entire country. As the nation recovers from the deadly attacks, questions still linger. Was the team somehow involved in the attacks? Just how did mold spread and take over people?

As Jean and Aries face Congressional Inquiries into their actions that day, Chad and Cheryl are still dealing with problems of their own. The mold still lives and has deadly plans. Unsuspecting citizens of a nearby town are in harm’s way as the mold intelligently adapts and survives.
